Q: Do you have showers on site?
A: No, we do not have showers on site but they are available to our campers at the Munising Tourist Park located right down the street. Showers are $8.00 per person each time you go.

Q: What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?
A: Check-In is 2:00 PM and Check-Out is 11:00 AM

Q: Can I Check-In early or Check-Out late?
A: No, due to cleaning and turn over schedule it is important to follow Check-In/Check-Out rules. If you would like to Check-In early or Check-Out late you would need to buy an extra day in order to do this. Credit card on file will be charged for violations.

Q: Do you have electricity?
A: No, we are a primitive campground meaning there is no electricity. We do have lantern hooks on the picnic tables and in the bathrooms so don't forget your lantern!

Q: Do you have bathrooms?
A: Yes, we have 4 privy toilets. These are non-flushing toilets that get cleaned daily.

Q: Is drinking water on site?
A: Yes, we have 2 hand-pump wells with drinkable potable water. The water gets tested every month. We recommend bringing your own water if you do not want to pump the water yourself. Pumps take 10-20 pumps to get the water flowing.

Q: Can I bring an RV or Pop-up Camper?
A: No, we are a primitive tent-only campground and are not set up to handle RV's or Pop-up Campers.

Q: Can I sleep in my car, sprinter van, or roof-top tent?
A: Yes, be sure to read the descriptions of each campsite to make sure you get a drive-in site as we also have hiking sites and walk-in sites.

Q: Do you have firewood for sale on-site?
A: Yes, we sell bundles of firewood for $10.00 a bundle. Bundles are large and not tied together due to weight.

Q: Do I need a reservation before I come? Can I just drive-in?
A: No, you do not need a reservation but we highly recommend one so you get the site you want. Each site is unique, some with open views of Lake Superior and some completely surrounded by trees. We have sites you can park in, walk-in sites, and hiking sites. We also sell out in the summer months and may not have a spot available if you show up without a reservation.

Q: What is the max amount of people I can have at 1 campsite?
A: Our license allows us a max of 6 people per site, max 2 dogs, and max 2 vehicles. If you have more than 6 people you would have to rent the correct amount of sites to accommodate 6 people per site. Example: You have 10 people, you need 2 sites. You have 13 people, you need 3 sites.
